The road
North via Ashtarak and Byurakan, then the mountain road up the southern slope of Aragats.

Good to know
- Best from June to October. The upper road to Lake Kari is usually snowbound until early summer — we confirm the road before you book.
- Bring a warm layer: it is often 10–15 °C colder than in Yerevan.
